A significant feature of my work is the recycling and manipulating of existing images. Using the recognizability of an image to make a work my own is a way to evoke a reaction from the viewer. Disney characters have an iconic quality that I can not resist to miss use. Hoping they can represent or function as something else in my work, I apply these aesthetics in a way that it doesn't immediately makes one think of their original context.
The sequence of deconstructed images seen in the poster refers to its own making of. It talks about the making of art, as it does of me constructing this poster — it is a rather "undesigned" poster. It shows my cravings as a designer to exhibit my experiments and share 'em with a larger crowd. It illustrates the process of the artist, a Big Bad Wolf, painting his own Fata Morgana.
